Mobile CARB Clean Truck Check testing in San Antonio.
Our certified technician provides mobile OBD emissions testing where your truck will be in the San Antonio area: a yard, terminal, or agreed route location with safe access and permission to test. For local operators and California-bound carriers, the appointment starts with the vehicle details and a workable stopping point.
San Antonio is our core service region. Coverage includes Boerne, Helotes, Converse, Cibolo, Schertz, New Braunfels, Seguin, and Bulverde. Confirm the exact location rather than assuming every address within a named community is suitable for the visit.

A stop before the California leg
An owner-operator or dispatcher can plan a San Antonio appointment while the truck is still outside Texas. Share the direction of travel, actual stopping point, arrival window in local time, and California travel date. Confirm the stop before diverting the vehicle.
Coordinate vehicles that will be present together, not just the fleet roster. A yard contact should arrange access and the testing order. Confirm that every listed truck is eligible for our OBD-only service.

Mobile travel is included within our service area. Volume pricing follows the number of trucks tested together. Retests are free within our working service area; repairs and the state’s annual compliance fee are separate.
Our service covers OBD emissions-data testing for diesel engines from model year 2013 onward and alternative-fuel engines from 2018 onward. Have the engine model year from the emissions control label and the fuel type ready before the appointment.
Services outside our scope
We do not provide smoke opacity testing or non-OBD visual inspections. Older engines may need a different provider. Review CARB’s testing requirements before booking.
Vehicle details: VIN, fuel type, engine model year, and the number of trucks actually available.
Compliance timing: the current deadline in CTC-VIS and the planned California travel date.
Testing location: the exact yard, terminal, or agreed stop; safe truck access, parking clearance, and permission to work.
Arrival and contact: the date, local arrival window, and a yard or dispatch contact who can coordinate vehicle access.
Known issues: recent repairs, cleared fault codes, or other details that may affect the test or OBD readiness.
Check vehicle eligibility and current requirements through official CARB guidance. After the test, confirm the result for the correct VIN and any outstanding registration, payment, or reporting obligations in CTC-VIS.

Your route is local. Your requirements aren’t.
A California-bound truck can be tested while it is in Texas. Confirm OBD eligibility from the engine details, then choose a safe location that fits the trip.
Can I get a Clean Truck Check test near San Antonio while heading to California?
A mobile stop can be planned at a confirmed San Antonio-area yard, terminal, or accessible route location. Share your route, arrival window, and vehicle information before changing dispatch instructions. Testing is mobile at agreed locations; arrange an appointment before arrival.
Does core San Antonio-area service have a travel surcharge?
Core San Antonio-area mobile coverage has no travel surcharge. Give the exact location to arrange coverage, access and the appointment. Austin uses the same testing rates, with no travel surcharge.
Which communities are in the San Antonio service area?
The San Antonio service area includes nearby communities such as Boerne, Helotes, Converse, Cibolo, Schertz, New Braunfels, Seguin, and Bulverde. Confirm your actual testing address and appointment availability.
Can a carrier registered outside Texas use a San Antonio appointment?
Where the carrier is registered or the dispatcher performs the search does not by itself determine California Clean Truck Check obligations. Covered vehicles operating in California may need testing. Confirm eligibility with CARB and plan the Texas appointment around the truck’s actual location.
How should a San Antonio fleet qualify for a volume rate?
Have the trucks tested together at the same location during one appointment. The rate follows the number actually tested; a larger fleet does not qualify for a higher-volume tier if fewer trucks are available.
Can I arrive without a confirmed appointment?
Do not assume walk-in availability. Confirm the location, OBD eligibility, arrival window, and full quote before arriving. Use the published contact and booking options to confirm whether a visit is available.
