Examples: the count that sets your rate
Three trucks tested at one location during one appointment: 3 × $140 = $420 in testing charges with no travel surcharge within our service area.
Five trucks tested together: 5 × $125 = $625 on the same basis. The total fleet size does not set the discount. If fewer trucks are actually tested, the tier follows that tested count.

Is there an additional Austin travel fee?
No. Austin and San Antonio use the same per-truck rates, with mobile travel included within our service area.
Can trucks at different yards share a volume rate?
The published tiers apply to trucks tested during the same appointment at the same location. Separate yards do not meet that condition; ask for individual visit quotes.
Does a failed test include a free retest?
Yes. Retests are free within our working service area. Arrange any needed repairs separately and contact us to schedule the retest.
Does paying for a test make the truck compliant?
Payment purchases the testing service. Check the result and other vehicle obligations in CTC-VIS; the owner’s reporting and state fee remain separate. See the CARB compliance overview.
